Choosing a Genre to Compose in.

My purpose is to generate interest in people about humanity’s journey to Mars. I think the best way to grab people's attention is by making a video. Everybody rather just watch a video than read a flier or a post. With pictures, music, and effects I can make my topic more interesting.

My audience is somewhat familiar with my topic. A lot of people know about Nasa and SpaceX and what they are doing to get to Mars. However, I am aware that most people don't know the details like when or how we plan to get there. For instance, many might assume that humans have already been to Mars, because of movies or because we have sent equipment there. Or some may assume that it is impossible and that nobody plans on doing it. I plan to connect through my audience through pathos. I plan on appealing to their curiosity or interest to explore new things. I think the best mode to appeal to my audience is not only text, but images and videos. My strengths as a composer are that I am able to grab the attention of the people that view my content. This is what I like about making videos and posting pictures, because I can make it so people find my stuff interesting and well done.
